Working with Documents
Document List
Document Manager has a number of functions for working on documents. Within an employee's folder, select a document to enable these functions.
Functions:
- Open - will open the document in the document viewer
- Indexes - to view/amend the indexes
- Permissions - to view/amend the permissions
- New - create a new version of the document
- Cut - cut the document from its current location
- Copy - copy document or copy a URL to the document
- Paste - paste cut/copied document
- Delete - delete selected document
- Find - to find reference/versions of selected documents
- Add to (workspace) - add document to your personal workspace
- Export - export to email, print, system
- Audit - view audit log
- Checkout - checkout document (and check back in)
- Retention
- Full Text - reprocess and view Full Text Index
Viewing a document
Within a document there are more functions available.
- Document Preview - will list document pages and show a thumbnail of the contents
- Document Details
- Viewing Options - zoom, rotate, etc.
- Amend Document - highlight, sticky note, redact, text stamp, image stamp, anotations, notes
