    Working with Documents

    Document List

    Document Manager has a number of functions for working on documents. Within an employee's folder, select a document to enable these functions.

    Working Options

    Functions:

    • Open - will open the document in the document viewer
    • Indexes - to view/amend the indexes
    • Permissions - to view/amend the permissions
    • New - create a new version of the document
    • Cut - cut the document from its current location
    • Copy - copy document or copy a URL to the document
    • Paste - paste cut/copied document
    • Delete - delete selected document
    • Find - to find reference/versions of selected documents
    • Add to (workspace) - add document to your personal workspace
    • Export - export to email, print, system
    • Audit - view audit log
    • Checkout - checkout document (and check back in)
    • Retention
    • Full Text - reprocess and view Full Text Index

    Viewing a document

    Within a document there are more functions available.

    Working View Document

    • Document Preview - will list document pages and show a thumbnail of the contents
    • Document Details
    • Viewing Options - zoom, rotate, etc.
    • Amend Document - highlight, sticky note, redact, text stamp, image stamp, anotations, notes
