Dashboards Management
Before starting to use Document Manager it's recommended to change some of the default Dashboard settings.
Change Default Dashboard
Click on the cog icon at the top right corner of the screen.
The Dashboards Management form will appear in a pop-up window.
Change:
- Default Dashboard to Your Name's Dashboard
When you next log in, you should see your Personal Dashboard as your default dashboard.
Amend Personal Dashboard
To amend your dashboard, click on the spanner icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
Use the Add Widget drop down menu to select a widget to add to your dashboard.
Configure/Delete Welcome Widget
To configure or delete the Welcome widget, click on the cog on the top right hand corner of the widget and select the appropriate option.
Personal Dashboard (Example)
After configuring your Personal Dashboard, it should resemble the following:
The widgets available are:
- Favourites
- Will list Saved Searches that you have added to your Favourites
- Recently Used
- Will list Folders/Searches that you have recently accessed
- Workspaces
- Will list workspaces that you have created
- Saved Searches
- Will list searches that you have saved
- Clicking on the Search name will run the search
- Clicking on the three dash icon beside the name will give additional options
- Add to Pinned - will add the Saved Search as a pinned search to the top right of the dashboard
- Add to Favourites
- Add to Alerter
- Delete
